Delivering complete garden solutions for our clients from Structural Landscaping & Garden Design through to ongoing Garden Maintenance throughout the Port Stephens, Newcastle & Hunter region.

This position will be predominantly running our Garden Maintenance arm of the business. Assisting the Landscape Director in job planning & ensuring high quality service is delivered for our clients on a daily basis whilst leading the team. This role will also provide support on structural landscaping jobs as required, so will be a great opportunity for a ‘jack of all trades’ that enjoys variety in their work week or is keen to take their career to the next level.

Ideally you will be a friendly, reliable team player with a 'can do' positive attitude, that can lead by example and are always willing to pitch in to get the job done. Someone who prides themselves on being able to work to a deadline, a high level of attention to detail who leads with confidence.

Port Stephens NSW is a beautiful area to live in! This is a sought after tourist holiday destination surrounded by stunning beaches only 50mins north of Newcastle NSW. Many of our locals have moved here to “escape” the city & have never looked back!!

The requirements

All applicants must meet the following criteria to apply:
Qualification in Horticulture, Parks & Gardens, Landscaping or similar &/or experience in garden maintenance & soft scape landscaping - minimum 3 years experience.
Experience in hedging, shaping, lawn maintenance, turf installation & pest / disease treatment.
Demonstrable experience in leading a team, along with the ability to create a fun, positive work culture.
Current drivers license, own transport & confident to drive a manual vehicle. We provide work vehicles for use while on the job. Ute package available for the right candidate.
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Have the right to work in Australia.
Be fit, healthy & without injury.
A genuine passion for Horticulture & Landscaping.
A good sense of humour - particularly around bad dad jokes.
This role will be Full time – Monday to Friday. No weekend work required! All tools, vehicles, uniforms etc are supplied.

Salary dependent on experience.
