Landscaper of the Year Residential Construction

TLA Member: Eloquent Landscapes
Project:
Waverley

This garden involved an elegant and charming design that seamlessly integrated with the architecture of the home. It incorporated mature trees, ornamental plants, ground covers, perennials, mature palms, and screening plants to make the garden seem established for a long time. The judges commented that it was built to a very high standard of workmanship, executed and installed well, which is demonstrated by the health and vigour of the plants.

Landscaper of the Year Residential Design

TLA Member: Adam Robinson Design
Project: Coastal Oasis

This newly renovated home in Manly Vale had a complete overhaul. The front garden was redesigned to create interest and improve the street presence, delivering a coastal feel. In the rear, an existing deck was replaced with natural stone. A new barbecue, daybed and awning created a great entertaining space, along with the pool. The judges said from the design to the installation, it was a well-balanced, unique, bold, high-end project.

Landscaper of the Year Residential Maintenance

TLA Member: Reflective Gardens
Project: Mosman

This garden involved a long-term commitment, with the team spending a full day on site every week for the first six months with a crew of four as they cleaned up and tidied each section. Despite access being restricted to a steep old sandstone stair, the team added new bricks, turf, edging and thousands of plants. The judges commended the team for their management of such a broad plant selection and immaculate presentation.

Landscaper of the Year Commercial & Civil Construction

TLA Member: Outdoor Retreats Landscaping
Project: Hurstville Grove Infants School

This project included a playground upgrade and shade structure and came with many restrictions such as managing dust and debris so it didn’t interfere with day-to-day school activities. A timber pergola, sandpit and play equipment were all added, as well as pathways. The judges noted that the project was well executed with a high level of skilled craftsmanship and attention to detail.
