Operations Manager and TLA Secretary
Kimberley Aquilina has a long work history with the TLA team, having started work with the Association in February 2014. Since that time, Kimberley has expanded her role and has become the backbone of TLA office operations, as both Operations Manager and TLA Secretary. Prior to joining TLA, Kimberley gained a wealth of experience and skills with over 10 years in the legal industry, working particularly in dispute resolution and litigation. With roles in some of the top law firms in Sydney as well as a lengthy term as the Assistant to the Internal Ombudsman at a local council, Kimberley also held the role of Complaints Officer for the Ombudsman.
Kimberley’s role at TLA is crucial, overseeing all office operations including assisting with Board Governance and is the Board Secretariat. Additionally, Kim is responsible for planning and conducting the annual Excellence Awards, liaises with Members and Corporate Sponsors, oversees staff, acts as human resources manager, financial management, website communication and runs the customer management system. Quite simply, Kimberley keeps the TLA machine humming smoothly and does it with style!
In her spare time, Kim loves attending shows, musicals and concerts. She is also a rabid Manly Sea Eagles supporter, attending games whenever her hectic family life allows.
