Question: Can I enter the same project in multiple categories? i.e. Residential Construction and Residential Design

Answer: Yes, you may.

Question: Do I need to engage a professional Photographer or Videographer?

Answer: No, but we do require at least 3 high resolution photographs to show the garden/construction as a whole in the landscape. Aspects of beauty and lifestyle can be demonstrated with these images which will be used for marketing purposes and during the Awards Ceremony.

Question: What sort of photographs do I need for judging?

Answer: Judging photographs – Demonstrate in detail the quality of the construction; such as close ups of gaps between stone in retaining walls, edging, straightness of lines, levels, paving etc. Throughout the entry form you will be asked to upload photographs.

Question: When do the entries close?

Answer: Entries close on Friday 26 July 2019.

Question: Can I re-enter projects from previous years?

Answer: Yes, but only if they have not won an award. Projects that have previously won an award may not be re-entered unless in a maintenance category, and then, not until three years have elapsed after winning.

Question: Why do I need owner’s consent?

Answer: The TLA Judging Panel may decide to inspect the project as part of the adjudication process and this authorisation allows them to do so.

Question: Will the Judges be doing site visits?

Answer: Site visits are at the discretion of the Judging Panel. Due to the number of entries received across the growing number of categories, the judges are simply not able to visit all the sites within a reasonable time frame and at a reasonable cost so the decision was made to review the entries by photograph and video submission.

Question: What is the cost per entry?

Answer: Each entry cost your first entry is a flat fee of $180.00 subsequent entries are $160.00 each.
