Following the huge success of TLA’s inaugural Women in Landscaping event in 2021, this event is not to be missed!  Focusing on the IWD theme of ‘Breaking the Bias’, our panel discussion will feature Charlie Albone (Inspired Exteriors) and Juliette Love, Claudia Crawley (Grindstone Landscapes) and Mikhala Beaumont (Manuka Gardens and recent apprentice of the year winner)  as they discuss their experiences in the landscaping industry. 

Our brunch this year will be held at the amazing Acre. Acre is an open-air urban oasis that features local and exotic fruit trees, a kitchen garden, vertical plantings & hydroponic growing systems.

Meet the panel


Claudia Crawley – Grindstone Landscapes

Claudia is a residential landscape designer and Co-founder of Grindstone Landscapes based in Sydney with a passion for contemporary garden design suited to individual client needs and focusing on the beauty of simplicity. Claudia has a Diploma in landscape design and currently holds a position as sponsorship Director on the board of the Australian Institute of Landscape Designers and Managers (AILDM) and writes a fortnightly garden column in The Weekly Times Ryde.

 

Charlie Albone – Inspired Exteriors
Charlie is one of Australia’s most prominent landscape designers. Having worked in Australia and internationally for the past 17 years he is passionate about beautiful gardens and loves plants and the outdoors. After a successful stint on the Lifestyle Channel’s Selling Houses Australia, Charlie has recently joined the team at Better Homes and Gardens on Channel 7. Charlie is a TLA member and ambassador and is passionate about supporting and encouraging women in the industry.

 

Juliet Love – Stylist and Presenter
Juliet is an accomplished interior designer & stylist having styled magazines, events, homes and commercial spaces for the likes of Vogue Living, Home Beautiful and Amber Tiles. Juliet is the new Decorating Presenter on Channel 7’s Better Homes and Gardens and appears as a regular guest on Channel 7’s The Morning Show, giving design advice. Juliet has also published a book on interior design, Love Style. She has a passion for creating beautiful, healthy, inspiring homes that are a joy to be in.

 

Mikhala Beaumont – Manuka Gardens
Mikhala is currently a landscape tradesperson and an integral part of the team at Manuka Gardens in Canberra. Mikhala was the “Apprentice of the Year” winner in the Construction category in the recent TLA Landscape Excellence Awards. She started working with Manuka Gardens in 2019 and hasn’t looked back. Mikhala is a great example of the talented females entering the landscaping industry and enjoying their career choice.

 

Vienna Spence, Marketing Manager, Husqvarna
Vienna is an innovative Marketing Manager, currently leading the marketing team at Husqvarna Australia. With expertise in project management, marketing strategy, planning and team mentorship, Vienna is passionate about bringing people together around common goals to ensure everyone wins – the business, the team and the community.

Descriptions of contracts contained on this website are a guide only and do not outline a specific fitness for purpose. The Landscape Association gives no representation or warranty about suitability of a particular contract for a specific function.

The Landscape Association does not accept responsibility for loss or damage suffered by any person or body relying directly or indirectly on any information contained within the pro forma contracts or the LNA Master Landscapers Rates Guide Schedule of Rates for Landscape Works. All contracts and Guides are purchased at the risk of those making the purchase.

TLA does not have access to the customer’s credit card number which is encrypted for security purposes. The credit card will be debited at the time of processing the payment. A tax invoice/receipt will be automatically generated and emailed to the customer.

Orders are ordinarily dispatched by Australia Post, Express Post, within seven working days. Five days should be allowed for delivery. This timeframe is indicative only. Every reasonable effort will be made to notify the customer if a delay is expected.

Provided an order has not been dispatched, it may be cancelled in full or part by calling The Landscape Association on (02) 9630 4844. Returns are not accepted by The Landscape Association unless the customer has received an unordered or faulty item, or unless otherwise required under Australian legislation.

The Landscape Association reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time.
