At this inaugural masters’ series event, The Glascott Group will share key insights gained from over three decades’ of industry experience and sustained growth. A keynote delivered by Matthew Glascott will cover structuring for growth, moving into new markets, targeting larger contracts, risk management, hiring the right people, lessons learnt, and more.

A panel discussion will follow featuring the Sydney Metro Northwest project delivery team on what it takes to deliver one of Australia’s largest and most successful public infrastructure projects.


KEYNOTE SPEAKER


Matthew Glascott, Executive Chairperson, The Glascott Group
Matthew is a highly regarded industry expert with over 30 years’ experience in running and operating commercial landscaping businesses. With offices along the eastern seaboard, his Group has been responsible for some of Australia’s most significant landscape projects and contracts. Matthew sits on the Board at the Royal Botanic Gardens and is Director of Foundation & Friends of the Royal Botanic Gardens He is passionate about the environment and dedicated to his vision; creating quality urban spaces that leave a lasting legacy.

PANELLISTS


Andrew Ewington, Associated Landscape Architect, Hassell Studio
Andrew is a registered landscape architect and Associate at Hassell, with over 30 years’ experience in landscape architecture and landscape construction. Throughout the SMNW rail project, Andrew was the Landscape Architectural Lead for all Documentation and Construction Phase Services.

 


Darren Mason, Sales Director, Andreasens Green 

Darren has been with Andreasens Green for 38 years, taking on various roles including Manager, General Manager, Operations, and now Sales Director. He has been instrumental in the growth of Andreasens Green which has seen the business expand to 5 nurseries with a combined 125 acres. Darren’s goal and vision for the horticultural industry – is to ‘Create Great Landscapes’, and he maintains this commitment by continuing to provide and supply quality plants and customer service.

 


Tim Carroll, Key Account Manager, Andreasens Green
Having worked in the Urban Horticulture industry for over 25 years, Tim has held a wide variety of roles in the Wholesale Nursery and Garden Maintenance industries. After training in Urban Horticulture, Tree Surgery, and spending a few valuable years in high-end landscape maintenance, he returned to Andreasens Green with a refreshed perspective on trees and plants. He now manages Councils & Key Accounts where he uses his specialist knowledge in advanced tree supply.

 


Daniel Badger, Project Manager, Glascott Landscape & Civil

Daniel has 22 years’ experience in landscape project delivery. He has been responsible for a wide range of commercial, public infrastructure and environmental projects, notably Sydney Metro Northwest, Ron’s Creek Splash Park & Open Park Stage 1, and his current project, Honeysuckle Park, in Newcastle. Daniel is an expert in large scale projects; managing complex specification, programming and stakeholder expectations while ensuring commercial outcomes.

 

 
Murray Fraser, Professional Soil Scientist, Benedict Sand & Gravel
Murray Fraser is widely recognised within the horticultural industry. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree with honours in Agricultural Science, and his significant expertise in soil science is highly sought after throughout the turf industry. Over the last 30 years, Murray has specified, constructed, project managed, and arbitrated several hundred sports field projects across Australia.

Descriptions of contracts contained on this website are a guide only and do not outline a specific fitness for purpose. The Landscape Association gives no representation or warranty about suitability of a particular contract for a specific function.

The Landscape Association does not accept responsibility for loss or damage suffered by any person or body relying directly or indirectly on any information contained within the pro forma contracts or the LNA Master Landscapers Rates Guide Schedule of Rates for Landscape Works. All contracts and Guides are purchased at the risk of those making the purchase.

TLA does not have access to the customer’s credit card number which is encrypted for security purposes. The credit card will be debited at the time of processing the payment. A tax invoice/receipt will be automatically generated and emailed to the customer.

Orders are ordinarily dispatched by Australia Post, Express Post, within seven working days. Five days should be allowed for delivery. This timeframe is indicative only. Every reasonable effort will be made to notify the customer if a delay is expected.

Provided an order has not been dispatched, it may be cancelled in full or part by calling The Landscape Association on (02) 9630 4844. Returns are not accepted by The Landscape Association unless the customer has received an unordered or faulty item, or unless otherwise required under Australian legislation.

The Landscape Association reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time.
