Experienced Structural Landscaper

Experienced Structural Landscaper – Join a Growing Sustainable Landscaping Company

Are you a hands-on landscaper with a passion for sustainable design and construction?
Join Tierra Projects, a dynamic and growing landscaping company that’s transforming outdoor spaces through quality craftsmanship and environmental responsibility. We specialise in high-end residential structural landscaping, garden installations, and sustainable systems like wicking beds, native planting, rain gardens and more.

We’re looking for an experienced landscaper who’s ready to step into a diverse and engaging role—someone who takes pride in their work, thrives in a small team environment, and wants to grow alongside a business that values both people and the planet.

What You'll Be Doing

You’ll take part in—and often lead—the delivery of custom residential landscaping projects. Your duties will include:

- Building retaining walls, paving, decking, raised garden beds (including wicking beds), pergolas, and other structural elements.
- Carrying out softscaping tasks such as planting, turfing and irrigation setup.
- Operating small machinery and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Interpreting and executing landscape plans with attention to detail.
- Supervising apprentices or labourers when required to maintain quality and workflow.
- Liaising with clients, builders and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Contributing to sustainable outcomes through environmentally-conscious techniques and materials.

The requirements

We want a proactive and reliable landscaper with:

- 2+ years experience in landscape construction.
- The ability to work autonomously and take initiative on-site.
- Leadership and teamwork skills to guide less experienced crew members.
- A strong interest or background in sustainable landscaping practices.
- A valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.
- Certificate III in Landscape Construction and/or relevant licences (e.g. Structural Landscaping Contractor’s Licence).

Bonus Points if You Also Have:

- Your own basic tools and/or vehicle (ute or van).
- ABN (for subcontractor arrangements).

Why Work With Us?

- Work on unique, meaningful projects that prioritise ecology and good design.
- Be part of a tight-knit, down-to-earth team with a supportive work culture.
- Opportunities to grow your skills and responsibilities as the company expands.
- Flexible hours with potential for full-time progression.
- Pay negotiable based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
