Landscape Construction Tradesperson – Immediate Start!

Joanne Green Landscape & Interior is based on the Northern Beaches, and for 40 years have been designing, constructing, and maintaining some of Sydney’s most beautiful gardens and properties.

We are searching for an energetic and passionate Landscape Construction Tradesperson to join our multi award-winning landscape construction team.

The requirements

This permanent full-time position will consist of approximately 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Locations will be spread across Sydney, mainly the Northern Beaches, North Shore and Eastern Suburbs.

DUTIES:
Reading plans;
Setting out projects;
Adjusting grades;
Paving with stone/brick/concrete;
Forming and pouring concrete;
Timber work eg. screens / fencing, as well as sleeper work;
Stone work using stone cladding products and working with natural stone;
Irrigation;
Brick work for walling / steps and soft landscaping including soil preparation, planting, turfing etc.


OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced landscape tradesperson who is energetic, can physically meet the demands of a landscape construction position and of course must have a love of the outdoors and a keen interest in construction and horticulture!

A team player, you will work alongside other team members to transform our clients’ residential landscapes. You will be someone who is competent and can plan ahead, reliable and honest.

We are looking for someone with four or more years of relevant experience, and you will need to be qualified with a Certificate III (Landscape) or a similar relevant qualification.


CRITERIA:
WHS White card
NSW Drivers licence and reliable vehicle
Police Check
Certificate III (Landscape) or similar
Proven ability to follow procedures and instructions and the ability to communicate with clients on routine matters
Good physical fitness
Demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision
Able to think proactively and plan ahead
Basic reading and writing skills
Reliable, punctual and honest
A chemical handling certificate would be well regarded but not essential

Orders are ordinarily dispatched by Australia Post, Express Post, within seven working days. Five days should be allowed for delivery. This timeframe is indicative only. Every reasonable effort will be made to notify the customer if a delay is expected.

Provided an order has not been dispatched, it may be cancelled in full or part by calling The Landscape Association on (02) 9630 4844. Returns are not accepted by The Landscape Association unless the customer has received an unordered or faulty item, or unless otherwise required under Australian legislation.
