About the role:

You will be managing a small team of full-time tradespeople and associated sub-contractors. We primarily engage in Design and Construct projects, so you will be helping us bring a vision to reality.

This is a hands-on role that allows you to build alongside your team, sharing your skills and mentoring. Overseen by our experienced Construction Manager and Project Manager, you will feel supported in your leadership role onsite - responsible for upholding our values and managing construction works.

You will be delivering projects based on detailed plans, project costings and timeframes. You will be responsible for reading plans (including R.L.'s and scale), measuring and ordering materials, quality control (overseeing the finishes of your team and sub-contractors), site safety, efficient time management, site purchasing in accordance with the project costing, and other responsibilities as the leader of the site.

The successful applicant will be confident with their skill and experience and ability to construct a range of Landscape features, including use of timber, concrete, stone, bricks and blocks, installing drainage systems, set out of a project, establishing turf, establishing gardens including soil conditioning, plant selection and planting. You will be ready to listen, communicate and lead a team that looks to you for support and example.

The requirements

Requirements:

4-5 yrs + industry experience, Cert 3 Landscape trade qualification, Manual Drivers licence.
White card, Working With Children Check (we can help with this). A bonus would be First Aid training and machinery tickets

TLA does not have access to the customer’s credit card number which is encrypted for security purposes. The credit card will be debited at the time of processing the payment. A tax invoice/receipt will be automatically generated and emailed to the customer.

Orders are ordinarily dispatched by Australia Post, Express Post, within seven working days. Five days should be allowed for delivery. This timeframe is indicative only. Every reasonable effort will be made to notify the customer if a delay is expected.

Provided an order has not been dispatched, it may be cancelled in full or part by calling The Landscape Association on (02) 9630 4844. Returns are not accepted by The Landscape Association unless the customer has received an unordered or faulty item, or unless otherwise required under Australian legislation.
