Landscape Tradesman

Do you love building and creating things for people to enjoy? Are you looking for a change?

Growing Rooms Landscapes designs, builds and maintains gardens in Sydney’s east and north.

Due to our workload, we are expanding our construction team and seeking experienced tradesmen.
You may be a qualified landscape tradesman, builder, bricklayer, stonemason, carpenter etc. – we are looking for a broad range of construction skills.
Our work involves all areas of construction - paving, bricklaying, tiling, fencing, planting and more. You will join a strong, stable company with a great culture.

About the Role

Liaising with clients and colleagues
Setting out and installing hardscape and softscape structures including paving, concreting, timber works, drainage works, irrigation works
Preparing land for landscaping and planting, including removing unwanted soil, plants and trees and disposing of in an appropriate manner
Preparing the soil to suit different kinds of plants and planting accordingly
Preparing areas and installation of lawns and laying turf
Installation of plants, trees, hedges
Responsible for quality of tools and ensuring all tools kept clean and safe at all times, and operating correctly
Contribute to work health and safety processes

The requirements

About you

You are a qualified landscape construction tradesman, builder, bricklayer or other construction staff
You have experience in the construction industry or structural landscaping for at least two years (or three years experience if no qualification)
You are motivated, hardworking and reliable with good communication skills
You approach all tasks at hand in a positive and professional manner.
You are able to work well with others
You have a current driver’s license and own vehicle

TLA does not have access to the customer’s credit card number which is encrypted for security purposes. The credit card will be debited at the time of processing the payment. A tax invoice/receipt will be automatically generated and emailed to the customer.

Orders are ordinarily dispatched by Australia Post, Express Post, within seven working days. Five days should be allowed for delivery. This timeframe is indicative only. Every reasonable effort will be made to notify the customer if a delay is expected.

Provided an order has not been dispatched, it may be cancelled in full or part by calling The Landscape Association on (02) 9630 4844. Returns are not accepted by The Landscape Association unless the customer has received an unordered or faulty item, or unless otherwise required under Australian legislation.

The Landscape Association reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time.
