Qualified Landscaper / Team Leader

Senior Landscaper/ Team Leader
We are currently looking for an experienced Landscaper to join our enthusiastic Team!
This is a full-time position with a flexible start date. If you are not local we are open to discussing possible relocation.

Your responsibilities will include:
-Running varied Local Government and Infrastructure projects
-Responding to, & completing residential quotation requests
-Assisting with the enforcement of OHS & QA requirements
-Plan, coordinate, collate, review and oversee the running of jobs
-Conducting post-completion checklists
-Making new contacts and developing existing relationships

The requirements

About you:
-Previous Landscaping experience and relevant qualifications are essential
-Prior project management experience within the Landscape Construction industry
-Willingness to learn new project management applications
-Ability to read and interpret measurement scales
-Confidence and accuracy in the measurement of areas, perimeters, depth,
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-A drive to grow and a team-player attitude
-Hold a valid Class C driver’s license (other licenses desirable)
-Capable of overseeing the progress of projects and able to discuss timelines
-Oversee project implementation
-An eye for detail
-Be personable with clients and co-workers

Primary tasks (but not limited to):
Assisting the site foreman in all aspects of construction projects
Assist to:
- Plan all materials and subcontractors to meet project timelines
- Delegate tasks to the team
- Quality control on self, staff, and subcontractor works
- Liaise with contractors and staff regarding construction items
- Liaise with clients on progress and planning
- Identify variations and transfer the required information to others for pricing (Site manager or Construction manager)
- Guide self and team to meet targeted timeframes for works all the while ensuring company quality expectations are met or exceeded
- Lead, guide, and develop staff within our team that are junior to your position
- Hard and soft landscape construction
- WHS management
- Budget control

TLA does not have access to the customer’s credit card number which is encrypted for security purposes. The credit card will be debited at the time of processing the payment. A tax invoice/receipt will be automatically generated and emailed to the customer.

Orders are ordinarily dispatched by Australia Post, Express Post, within seven working days. Five days should be allowed for delivery. This timeframe is indicative only. Every reasonable effort will be made to notify the customer if a delay is expected.

Provided an order has not been dispatched, it may be cancelled in full or part by calling The Landscape Association on (02) 9630 4844. Returns are not accepted by The Landscape Association unless the customer has received an unordered or faulty item, or unless otherwise required under Australian legislation.
