Landscaper / Team Leader

Dubbo Landscaping is currently looking for an experienced Landscaper/Team Leader to join our enthusiastic Team!
This is a full-time, Mon-Fri position with a flexible start date.
Wages are paid weekly and negotiable depending on experience.
If you are not currently located in Dubbo we are open to discussing possible relocation assistance.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Running varied Local government, commercial, school, and residential install projects
• Installation of a variety of hardscape elements (retaining wall, paving, play equipment, edging, timber structures, etc)
• Installation of a variety of softscape elements (including turf, plants, mulch, etc)
• Machine operation including (excavator, bobcat)
• Overseeing crew members, assigning tasks, and managing work timelines

The requirements

• Previous Landscaping experience and relevant qualifications.
• Prior crew leader experience within the Landscape/Construction industry.
• Ability to accurately read and interpret site plans.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A drive to grow and a team-player attitude.
• Hold a valid Class C license (necessary)
• MR driver’s license desirable (or be willing to obtain MR license immediately)
• Capable of overseeing the progress of projects and able to discuss timelines.
• Oversee project implementation.
• An eye for detail.
• White card
• Working With Children Check (we can help with this). A bonus would be First Aid training and machinery tickets
• Be personable with clients and co-workers
• Be able to build repour with your team and promote an effective and efficient work ethic.
A key responsibility of this role will be providing mentorship to our younger team members in effective & efficient work practices.
The ability to lead and regularly enforce good working habits is an integral characteristic of the successful application for this role.

TLA does not have access to the customer’s credit card number which is encrypted for security purposes. The credit card will be debited at the time of processing the payment. A tax invoice/receipt will be automatically generated and emailed to the customer.

Orders are ordinarily dispatched by Australia Post, Express Post, within seven working days. Five days should be allowed for delivery. This timeframe is indicative only. Every reasonable effort will be made to notify the customer if a delay is expected.

Provided an order has not been dispatched, it may be cancelled in full or part by calling The Landscape Association on (02) 9630 4844. Returns are not accepted by The Landscape Association unless the customer has received an unordered or faulty item, or unless otherwise required under Australian legislation.
