TLA Membership is open to any person or entity engaged in the Landscape Industry: commercial and residential landscape contractors, landscape maintenance contractors, landscape designers, landscape suppliers, services, educators, trade service providers and trade suppliers.

The Landscape Association offers a wide range of membership categories to suit your business, large or small, residential or commercial, design, maintenance, educational, trade service or supplier.

No matter what landscaping business you are in, the benefits of membership are well worth the investment.
For all categories of membership, with the exception of Educational Institutions, your annual membership fee is calculated based on the number of employees in your business.
After selecting your membership type, select your number of employees to see the membership fees.

Disclaimer:
The standard membership application fee is $50.00 (incl. GST).
This fee covers the administrative costs of handling your application.
All membership and application fees are fully tax deductible.

Membership Eligibility Criteria

 Landscape Construction- Residential (NSW)

  • Must have a structural landscaping or builders licence
  • Must have an ABN or ACN
  • Must have a website, social media address or be able to provide images of completed projects
  • HBC insurance encouraged for works over 20K

Landscape Construction- Residential (ACT)

  • A licence is not required for works performed within the ACT, however businesses registered in the ACT, who perform work in NSW, must comply with the above
  • Must have an ABN or ACN
  • Must have a website, social media address or be able to provide images of completed projects
  • Should provide a qualification

Landscape Construction – Commercial (ACT & NSW)

  • Must have and ABN or CAN
  • Must have a website, social media address or be able to provide images of completed projects

Landscape Maintenance (NSW & ACT)

  • Must have a Certificate 111 in Parks & Gardens, or a Horticultural qualification or 10 years+ experience
  • Must have an ABN or ACN
  • Must have a website, social media address or be able to provide images of completed projects

Landscape Designer (NSW & ACT)

  • Must have a qualification in landscape design
  • Must have an ABN or ACN
  • Must be able to provide a copy of a complete set of plans
  • Must have a website, social media address or be able to provide images of completed projects

I/we agree, if membership of Landscape NSW & ACT Ltd is granted, to be bound by its Constitution and Rules, its Code of Ethics and any industry Code of Practice endorsed by Landscape NSW & ACT Ltd. I/we agree that if I/we are conducting residential landscaping in NSW that I/we will hold appropriate licence and maintain the appropriate insurances, workers compensation insurance, public liability insurance and Home Building Compensation Insurance. I understand that the company/business information supplied may be distributed with discretion, for publicity purposes. In making this application it is noted that the TLA’s authorised representatives/ may make any relevant enquiries which will assist in its deliveration and consideration of said application.

Logo Usage Declaration

I/we, the undersigned declare that the TLA’s logo will be used on business promotional material (stationery, website etc) for the term of the TLA Membership. I/we undertake to remove reference to the TLA should my membership status alter. It is understood that use of the TLA logo outside of these terms would be a breach of copyright.

Terms and Condition

These Terms and Conditions must be read in conjunction with TLA’s Privacy and Copyright Policy Statements.

Descriptions of contracts contained on this website are a guide only and do not outline a specific fitness for purpose. The Landscape Association gives no representation or warranty about suitability of a particular contract for a specific function.

The Landscape Association does not accept responsibility for loss or damage suffered by any person or body relying directly or indirectly on any information contained within the pro forma contracts or the LNA Master Landscapers Rates Guide Schedule of Rates for Landscape Works. All contracts and Guides are purchased at the risk of those making the purchase.

TLA does not have access to the customer’s credit card number which is encrypted for security purposes. The credit card will be debited at the time of processing the payment. A tax invoice/receipt will be automatically generated and emailed to the customer.

Orders are ordinarily dispatched by Australia Post, Express Post, within seven working days. Five days should be allowed for delivery. This timeframe is indicative only. Every reasonable effort will be made to notify the customer if a delay is expected.

Provided an order has not been dispatched, it may be cancelled in full or part by calling The Landscape Association on (02) 9630 4844. Returns are not accepted by The Landscape Association unless the customer has received an unordered or faulty item, or unless otherwise required under Australian legislation.

The Landscape Association reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time.
