TLA Membership is open to any person or entity engaged in the Landscape Industry: commercial and residential landscape contractors, landscape maintenance contractors, landscape designers, landscape suppliers, services, educators, trade service providers and trade suppliers.
And remember, not only can your membership assist you individually but, by joining TLA, you allow the Association to better represent the interests of Members and the industry as a whole on a broader stage. TLA aims to continually protect and expand the Landscaping Industry’s excellent reputation with the general public, as well as act as a voice and a lobbying agent for the needs of Members on issues including government regulation, education and working conditions.

The Landscape Association offers a wide range of membership categories to suit your business, large or small, residential or commercial, design, maintenance, educational, trade service or supplier. No matter what landscaping business you are in, the benefits of membership are well worth the investment.
For all categories of membership, with the exception of Educational Institutions, your annual membership fee is calculated based on the number of employees in your business. After selecting your membership type, select your number of employees to see the membership fees.
An initial membership application fee of $165.00 (incl. GST) is payable to cover the administrative costs of handling your application. All membership and application fees are fully tax deductible.
Businesses applying for this category of Membership must be an Australian Tax Office registered business.
For Residential Construction Member applicants, businesses must hold a NSW Fair Trading Structural Landscaping or Builders Licence (excluding businesses operating in the ACT). This requirement does not apply to Commercial Construction Member applicants. Members must also satisfy the Membership Criteria and requirements regarding insurances, qualifications and quality checks.
Businesses applying for this category of membership must be an Australian Tax Office registered business that adheres to the membership criteria and requirements regarding insurances, qualifications and quality checks.
This category of membership is open to any individual who has a professional qualification in landscape design. Members will have a Diploma of Landscape Design or appropriate university degree. Applicants will also be required to supply a transcript of the subjects and their pass mark, as well as their final qualifications. If the applicant has studied other courses equivalent to an approved diploma course, the Board will consider that as a pathway but cannot guarantee membership. If an applicant has not completed a formal qualification but has extensive experience in landscape design, an application for membership may still be made. Businesses applying for this category of Membership must be an Australian Tax Office registered business and must also adhere to the Membership Criteria and requirements regarding insurances.
This category of membership is extended to businesses supplying services to the Landscape Industry. Businesses applying for this category of Membership must be an Australian Tax Office registered business. Businesses must also adhere to the Membership Criteria.
This category of membership is extended to suppliers of product/s to the Landscape Industry. Businesses applying for this category of Membership must be an Australian Tax Office registered business. Businesses must adhere to the Membership Criteria.
This membership category is designed for industry training organisations and academia (Universities, TAFEs, Agricultural Colleges, Schools etc). Businesses applying for this category of Membership must be an Australian Tax Office registered business. Businesses must adhere to the Membership Criteria.
